Carsulae - TerniThe evocative theater of the archaeological area of Carsulae, returns to offer its natural setting for the staging of five interesting shows. The program includes classical theater texts reinterpreted in a contemporary way and particularly suited to the characteristics of the theater space.
The first three shows are part of a project by the Teatro Pubblico Ligure, "Iliade un racconto mediterraneo" signed by Sergio Maifredi on Saturday 16th June at 8.40 pm Moni Ovadia with the first song of the Homeric poem, "L'ira di Achille" ", to be continued on Friday, June 22nd with Tullio Solenghi in" The duel for Elena "and Sunday, June 24th with Amanda Sandrelli with the songs XVI and XVII," The death of Patroclus ".
Carsulae theater continues Thursday, June 28th, again at 8.45 pm, with Marco Paolini and his "U.", a pocket odyssey reduced to an oratory divided into movements, rhapsodies, ballads and “frottole”. Paolini's narrative travels on inventions of immediate, pop, politically incorrect language that faithfully maintains all correspondences with the stages, the meetings and the vicissitudes of the Homeric journey.
The last show is scheduled for Saturday, June 30th with the production of Bologninicosta, "Le Supplici or the Last God", the moment when starting from Aeschylus a new era is born, or vision. It is the new world where ancient deities set on the peoples who cross the sea. The Last God is a tragedy that starts yesterday to talk about tomorrow, migratory flows, distant worlds. The text and direction of the show are by Sofia Bolognini and sees on stage Luisa Borini, Cesare D'Arco, Marcello Gravina, Giacomo De Rose, Aurora Di Gioia, Serena Sansoni, Alice Giorgi, Chiara Aquaro while the original music is by Dario Costa .
